IN-KIND DONATIONS

KAIR provides free clothing, furniture and other household items as they become available. A running "wish list" has been established with the names and phone numbers of those in need of certain household items (beds, refrigerators, strollers, dressers, etc.) As the items become available through generous donations KAIR connects the two parties.

Our biggest contributor to this program has been Hawk's Cay Resort in Duck Key. The resort underwent a gut-rehabilitation of it's properties this year and the contents of many of the villas were donated to KAIR. KAIR has been able to distribute all of the furniture and appliances to the community for free!

Other business donate trucks to transport the furniture items and storage facilities have been donated when the inventory was too large for immediate distribution.
